The University of Nottingham is at the forefront of our understanding of childhood brain tumours. That's why The Stoneygate Trust created The Stoneygate Children's Brain Tumour Research Fund, an internal grant programme.
The Fund is particularly interested in supporting interdisciplinary work dedicated to understanding the causes, treatment and outcomes of childhood brain tumours. Applications can be made for projects in any part of the University.
The deadline for applications is Midnight September 22nd 2019.
There are two grant schemes in this Fund: the Career Catalyst Awards, and the Proof of Concept Awards.
Career Catalyst Awards aid professional progression by offering a grant of up to four years to establish a researcher in their specialism. Each applicant must have a contract of employment with the University covering the duration of their proposal.
Proof of Concept Awards support promising feasibility studies to test new and imaginative ideas that could transform treatment.
